Fispak Food Casings

We offer a high quality range of custom casings from Podanfol designed for shaping, cooking and presenting sausage and other cooked meat products.  For in-house production, we have products that meet varying productivity and yield demands.  For sausage that will be retailed in the casing we offer excellent design and printing solutions.  If your preference is to use labels, look no further than our label and sleeve pages.

Pecta Premium - a high shrink multilayer  general use casing for puddings, slicing hams, poultry and other meat products. Available in a variety of colours including tints.

Pecta Ring – in a range of sizes and colours, Pecta ring gives the traditional presentation expected from natural or collagen ring casing with the added benefit of better shelf life and easy handling.  As with our other casings it can be supplied shirred and printed with a best before date.

Pecta Mould – this casing is engineered to deliver a high shrink with low pressure and so allow the products to fill and form into the corners of square, rectangular and other mould profiles.

Pecta HD - used for applications where a very high level of diameter control is needed, combined with no cook-out and excellent storage life.

Pecta Shape and Pecta Shape HS - these products replace fibrous casing for certain applications.  The exact specification depends on the levels of strength and shrink required in each case.  The type of pre-sticking will also help determine the final product result as regards cook out and yield.

Victan XSE - a range of speial multilayer shrinkable casings for the hot filling of cheese and products such as flavoured butters.  They have a high degree of calibre control.  Its mechanical properties are adapted to suit easy filling and clipping, for example, with smoother adjustment of the casing brake even if the casing is not soaked

Overbags– for use in conjunction with Fibrous or Pecta Shape, these clipped tubings in various widths and lengths provide a mess free sterile pack for the meat during and after cooking and cooling.

Cooking Bags – with or without shrink, cooking bags assist in producing a good product shape, flavour and yield.  They are available in transparent or coloured formats and a variety of widths and can be cut & clipped to any length. Delivery is ex-stock.

We offer printed casings in up to 12 colours, working with UV inks on modern Gallus presses.  Colour shades are monitored at every stage of the process ensuring that the correct result is maintained from order to order.

Precise, detailed reproduction is obtained by expert printers and dedicated technical staff using polymer printing plates as well as laser engraved sleeves.

Casing Conversion available at Fispak:

Available in reels, with or without pre-sticking, or in cut pieces as well as cut & clipped to the required length, and drilled

Available in reels or shirred with overprinting of “Best Before” date

Available as Ready to use (RTU), which is a pre-wet casing

Also possible is a no-soak (Straight-to-filler) casing
